Preselection cello 2017
Take a peak behind the scenes of the preselection process of the 2017 cello competition ! This competition round is held behind closed doors, but on the occasion of our very first cello competition we want to share some images and some jury members' explanations of the selection procedure with you. All videos were watched twice over the two preselection weeks, each week by a different part of the jury.

The candidates have arrived !
A few days before the beginning of the first round, the candidates arrive in Brussels. They meet the team of the Competition, get the chance to test the acoustics of the concert hall at Flagey (Studio 4) and attend the drawing of lots, which determines their order of appearance throughout the Competition.
