, the Queen Elisabeth Competition invites you to a free concert on Saturday 20 July 2019 at 20. The Prelude to National Day reunites the Belgian National Orchestra with a laureate of the Queen Elisabeth Competition, this year Henry Kramer
, laureate of the 2016 piano competition. They will perform Concerto n. 4 in G major op. 58 by Ludwig van Beethoven. The Belgian National Orchestra, under the baton of Hugh Wolff, will also perform Egmont
Ouverture op. 84 by Ludwig van Beethoven and Dances of Galanta
by Zoltán Kodály.
This concert, organised with the support of the FPS Chancellery of the Prime Minister
and of the National Lottery
, is meant to attract a new audience to the Brussels Centre for Fine Arts to enjoy major works of the classical music repertoire in a festive atmosphere and to discover laureates of previous sessions of the Competition. We are sorry but there are no more tickets available.
